Who we are

FileSense is an AI-powered file organisation tool. We operate at filesense.app. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at support@filesense.app.

What data we collect

  • Account information — your email address and name, collected when you sign up via Clerk.
  • Usage data — which tools you use, how many credits you spend, and when. We use this to show you your usage history and to operate the service.
  • Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

Your files

We do not store your files. Images and audio/video files are sent directly to our AI processing service and are discarded immediately after the result is returned. We have no copy of your files and cannot retrieve them.

How we use your data

  • To operate your account and process your requests
  • To track your credit balance and usage history
  • To send transactional emails (payment receipts, verification codes)
  • We do not sell your data to third parties
  • We do not use your data for advertising

Third-party services

Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

Data retention

We retain your account and usage data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is permanently deleted within 30 days.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. Email us at support@filesense.app and we will respond within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make significant changes we will notify you by email. Continued use of FileSense after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
